Low results in Conversion Campaigns
Sometimes the results you get from a campaign can be disappointing. There are several reasons this could happen.
It may possibly be due to the combination of the chosen billing event and optimisation goal. We expect that if you change these, the campaign will create more conversions.
To do this:
- Go to the campaign dashboard of the campaign you want to change.
- Click on Show audience options behind one of your audiences.
- A new screen will open, in which you can change the billing event and optimisation goal. Change these to Link Clicks, or change at least your optimisation goal to Link Clicks.
- Save the changes and do this for every audience.
Secondly, it could be because of wrongly chosen excluded audiences. For example, if you make a lookalike audience you can choose between 5%, 10% and 15%. So this is the 5% outside the audience which most lookalikes (like the same pages, act the same etc.).
