In this article we will explain more about Google Merchant Center suspensions and what can be done.
How do I know if Google has suspended my Merchant Center Account
When Google has suspended your account, you will receive a red notification bar on top of the application. Clicking on the notification will lead you to the Account Status page where more information is available on why your account has been suspended.
Why is my Google Merchant Center Account suspended?
Google is strict on maintaining its policies which could lead to a suspension when you purposely or accidentally violate one of their policies. Luckily a suspension is not permanent and can be reviewed if you made changes to the area that caused the suspension.
How do I know the reason for my account suspension?
When you received a notification that your Google Merchant Center account has been suspended you can select the Account Status page in the left navigation bar to receive more information. On the Account Status page, you will see a notification in yellow stating "Some steps need your attention!" followed by a list of onboarding steps. Under "Google Merchant Center created" you will see a notification in red explaining the exact policy that has been violated.
