Spend cap

Setting a spend cap pauses your campaign automatically after a certain amount of money has been spent. This can be useful if your actual budget doesn't allow for any extra above the minimum set by Facebook.

Facebook will think your budget is higher than it actually is, so The Next Ad can optimise based on that amount of budget. Because of your spend cap, your campaign will never exceed the limit you filled in there.

Please note that the spend cap should be at least €100 or €100 higher than has already been spent in a running campaign. So, it is not possible to set the spend cap to €500 if €401 or more already has been spent in a particular campaign.
